Cannabis business, Belushi and other stars become producers
Breaking news: the actor Jim Belushi, John’s younger brother, is among the American producers of cannabis showing that this business is taking over Hollywood. He is only the last of a long list of stars who have invested in the production of cannabis, although he personally takes care of his plants, a sign that he appreciates cannabis and its properties.
Many other famous people in the US are investing in this product whose growth perspectives are incredible, among them we can find Seth Rogen, Whoopi Goldberg, Mike Tyson, Snoop Dogg and Marley’s heirs. In Italy instead, we have a popular J-Ax and other stars who sniffed the wind, showed their faces and invested money on it.
The last person to publicly share his cannabis business is Belushi, son of Albanian parents who migrated to Uncle Sam years ago. Jim is not someone who goes for small things: not only did he put his name on the product but he also produces it.
He grows marijuana in his Belushi’s Farm in Oregon that apparently is a good place to plant it. Belushi is someone who goes in his farm and checks the crops, their health, and their quality of course. One of the reasons that pushed him to produce marijuana is its medical use as he declared it in his recent interviews.
He refers to the cannabis that he personally harvests and takes care of as being therapeutic and one of the treatments he mentions is the one for PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) that affects veterans.
If Johns smoked weed like a chimney he would still be alive!
It’s the sad truth: if his brother John Belushi who died at the young age of 33 from overdose were a heavy cannabis smoker, he would still be alive!
Unfortunately, or fortunately, joints have never killed anyone and it’s a crime having mistreated this plant for so long.
Things are changing today and they are following the direction that they should have taken at least half a century ago. However, we know why it has never been the case and it is due to the usual lobbies that had to profit from common people. Now cannabis is legal in many countries and in few years it will become in many more and with less restrictions than before.
This means that the cannabis business will grow even more and that more people will invest creating an increasing the supply able to meet the demand. It’s possible that in few years or months cannabis will be sold without many constraints just like cigarettes. Everything changes and will change: sometimes people really need to scent money to attract capital, just like blood for sharks. The smell of money is just as strong as the one of joints, so, the more the supply grows, the more the smell of money will attract the “sharks”! So what’s the advantage?
Simply put, it will favour the acceleration towards a more homogeneous, free and legal market for marijuana. The cannabis business could be the deal of the next decades: I can already imagine affordable blue-chips of joints listed on Wall Street! It’s the market baby, where you can make money, no matter how, as long as you make it! Anyway, better joints than weapons, therefore “make love not war”.
Some guesses for the future
Considering that the cannabis business is seducing Hollywood stars, we can predict that the American jet-set will follow the flock like the herds in Western movies. We can be sure that more big names will follow Belushi and the others into the marijuana business, because of money, because they snort it, or just because prospects are good.
Any good investor wants one thing only: a solid and high income. Now, assuming that the cannabis business keeps growing, the companies already listed could multiply their value therefore making many people rich. There have been already great signals last autumn, where one of the listed companies experienced a surge of 900%!
Many have already babbled that this is a bubble, as it often happens in these cases, however they did not take into account an important fact: we are not talking about technology but about weed, isn’t it clear? Technology is often outdated by the time it gets commercialized while marijuana has neither trends nor cycles of this type.
No technologies or plants will ever surpass the cannabis business: it is only her and her variants that will stay. Can you understand the difference between a joint and a Smartphone already obsolete after two weeks? This is to say that cannabis has all it takes to be winning product in the stock market.
The advantages for ordinary mortals in between puffs
For the consumer there would be multiple benefits. Firstly, the more money flows within the cannabis business, the easier it would be to find affordable marijuana. Secondly, it would always be available without the pain of bans and bollocks, and most probably regulated internationally. This would redeem it from its sins, a delayed but necessary process for both the consumers and the market. You can be sure about it.
So let the market be, if it gives us back what it took away from us. Of course market stands for power and money of those who influence us and decide for us, it’s always been like this, nothing new. Praise goes to Jim Belushi and his colleagues for helping the cannabis business bringing money to many people, after all someone has to do it.
The nice thing about this new market is its democratic side, in the sense that anyone can grow his own “garden” and smoke his own homemade joints. Maybe soon it will be possible as long as the monopoly does not interfere. In that case we will be content with buying a little bit of weed at the tobacco shop: in the end what matters is the possibility of consuming cannabis freely!
Cannabis emergency, but alcohol is the real issue!
The “cannabis emergency” strand is still going. If only there was someone tackling alcohol abuse as the real major problem among youngsters, instead. This is not happening maybe because beer, wine and liquors are sold like water in the supermarkets and the State applies a tax on them therefore their consumption is good for the economy.
Indeed alcohol is a major issue and according to the data of the National Observatory the National Institute of Health (Osservatorio Nazionale Alcol-Cneps) this is a real emergency that kills thousands of people every year. Instead, no deaths can lead back to cannabis, yet according to the Minister Salvini the problem is still the cannabis shops in Italy, not the alcohol vendors.
The Minister’s statements were quickly backed up by concrete actions, with many legal cannabis shops closing down thanks to the “zealous” action taken by the Quaestors who are “obsequiously” following the Minister’s words. Needless to say that there is no such thing as a cannabis emergency because no one has ever got sick because of a joint, while alcohol quietly ends thousands of lives.
We live in an upside down world where the causes of real physical damage to the people and the society are systematically kept silent. This problem is a hundred times bigger than the cannabis emergency and it involves teenagers, adults and elderly people. However, the issue for the Minister still remains the joint, weakened and with an extremely low percentage of THC.
Some data on alcohol and its effects!
Italy is the most “alcoholic” country in the world but apparently this is not a problem according to the anti-cannabis movement leaders. Alcohol is consumed among the most vulnerable age groups: three out of ten 11 to 14 years old youngsters admitted that they drink sometimes. This is only the launching pad to adulthood, in fact between the age of 15 to 18 the percentage of drinking people increases.
The most worrying data is that it is becoming more common nowadays for people to start drinking at an early age, with dangerous repercussions in the future. Male teenagers aged 11 to 14 are more seduced by alcohol than female ones and more often than not they are “initiated” at home, a not so reassuring finding.
The point is that, opposite to cannabis, a bottle of wine, beer or hard liquor can always be found at home but no one ever questions the problem. Cannabis instead cannot really be found in cupboards like cigarettes, that are easily accessible to youngsters at home and that represent an additional issue.
Alcohol addiction is very similar to the one of heavy drugs, with devastating effects for the mind and the body. For young people going through body development in particular this means undermining their health and threatening their immune system. This translates in signing for a future as chronically sick individuals and often for early death due to the consequences of their actions. This being said we can conclude that there is no cannabis emergency but rather a social emergency related to the mild customs of the country.
Shall we talk about healthcare costs?
Have you ever heard of someone being hospitalized for a cannabis-related illness? Of course not. How many are the people who have been hospitalised because of alcohol instead? They are tens or hundreds of thousands of patients every year that the National healthcare system needs take care of at the expense of everyone. If we were to quantify the cost of alcohol consumption in Italy and in the world we would need too many zeros, enough to give us headache.
Don’t you think that alcohol producers should be directly responsible? Declaring an elusive cannabis emergency without taking into account alcohol-related deaths sounds quite hypocrite and it offends the intelligence of any mentally sane person because opposite to alcohol, cannabis does not burn your brain!
Shall someone let the Minister Salvini know? Shall we also tell the M5S (Movimento 5 Stelle party) paladins who are more worried about the environment and legislating on washable sanitary pads? They are the ones who talk about cuts and waste but cannot see the black hole of public healthcare and how much an alcoholic and sick society is costing.
The conclusion is that the problem does not exist for these people who on paper should take care of the public wellness and people’s health. You know how it is, alcohol is a taboo: even if everyone knows that it harms like uranium no one gives a damn as they already have a constituency. Therefore, even if it’s not healthy just drink on it, drink and forget about it and forget that drinking is not good.
It’s easy to declare a cannabis emergency
Smokers are only a minority therefore they represent an unnecessary popular support. Can you imagine different political parties saying that alcohol is illegal because it kills the people? Obviously not: as we have already mentioned, drinkers vote and in Italy the 60% of the population drinks, so draw your own conclusions.
Saying that cannabis is dangerous and that it kills people is bullshit, and if people say so they are knowingly lying. You will never find a politician going against voters while shaking a bottle of rhum saying “enough, this is dangerous!”. Here every disquisition can be taken as “beneficial side effect”: the drinker votes and it’s good, it gets sick and it’s good otherwise what the hell are the doctors for?
People have no value, if they did and the State really cared about the health of the citizens who maintain it financially, there wouldn’t be any more medicines to be sold. Apparently the cannabis emergency is so lethal that thanks to its natural properties it cures many people, not like alcohol. According to Minister Salvini the issue is the cannabis smokers, not the multinational companies who sell alcohol out in the open and everywhere. So take note: joints are harmful while alcohol is good, especially for the interests of the few. Cheers… so to speak!
Cannabis illegal in Italy, Salvini’s last crusade!
The latest “salvinian cannonball” on making cannabis illegal in Italy has obviously been source of controversy. Sometimes battles are fought for ideals, rights and for peace but not for bullshit. Right when we were on the right track for legalization and acceptance of this incredible expression of nature, voila, here comes the axe.
How can we be so culturally backward in such an incredibly evident way? Come on, no kidding, Salvini is the Minister of the Interior in a nation like Italy, how can he waste so much time and talks this way? Making cannabis illegal in Italy is a lost battle given that the world is changing its approach on this precise matter.
Salvini has repeatedly shared the idea of being against lobbies and multinational companies cannibalising small and medium businesses, therefore he should be aware that exactly the same lobbies banned cannabis almost a century ago. The large industry and the finance sector gave themselves the monopoly on everything, contributing to the elimination of the plant as it was threatening their huge interests.
We already talked about this topic in this post, of how the powerful people of the early past century banned cannabis, then why are we going back? Making cannabis illegal in Italy and in the rest of the world has been a crime against the people who grew it and got their income from it. It seems impossible that even today we are still talking about this plant as if it was an alien coming from another planet. Salvini please put your mind at ease: cannabis was here before you and it has been an incredible plant for humankind, not only to smoke but also to use in different ways.
Making cannabis illegal in Italy contributes to crime!
This is the reality: thanks to the opening of cannabis shops across the country, organized crime has lost something like 100 million euro. It’s not peanuts, and let’s not forget that we are only at the beginning, because actually the large distribution is yet to start, if Salvini allows. However, someone should explain that making cannabis illegal in Italy does not lead to any positive results, but rather the opposite.
The recent study signed by Vincenzo Carrieri of the university UniversitĂ Magna Graecia Catanzaro confirms this tendency. With the spreading of cannabis shops the legal sale of cannabis has resulted in a decline in the seizure of illegal dealing by 14%.
This means that when smokers are given the chance to choose between legal and illegal cannabis they do not risk, and they buy in cannabis shops. This is only one of the many positive effects that are obviously real and not fantasy. The comforting consequence is that illegal cannabis does not pay taxes while the legal one does.
Apparently Salvini would rather have illegal drug dealers selling cannabis (given that he won’t be able to eradicate the issue anyway) than allowing stores with tills to sell it. Needless to say, that some logical thinking would definitely go for the legalising option and for the authorised distribution of cannabis. Maybe someone should show Minister Salvini some data just to see what he would say!
Let people, not the single person, choose
In view of human self-determination, which is a fundamental right, citizens are the ones who should make decisions. Apparently, people already chose and in multiple occasions even in the Parliament, they have always voted in favour. Italians, including non-smokers, have never liked illegal cannabis.
Awareness and reasoning want that freedom of choice applies on this topic as well, giving people the freedom to use cannabis legally. The general public has chosen, and it has done so on the basis of principles of legality and by asking themselves questions on the benefits of cannabis that have already been proven. Of course, it’s not going to end here but we are sure that the outcome is obvious: cannabis will be legalised, and we will still see it in the shops.
Maybe Salvini has his reasons to be against cannabis, but his problem is easily solvable by just not smoking it! However, as a Minister, breaking the balls of millions of people who have no fear of cannabis and who reap its benefits instead, is a little bit excessive. There are cases of consumption for therapeutic purposes; shall we forbid it to those people in need too?
If he claims that it is ok for cannabis to be used for medical purposes, but he is still fighting to make it illegal, let’s expect a herd of sick people queuing for analgesic cannabis in the future! We are in the middle of a grotesque joke, and let’s be honest, there are more urgent issues in Italy! Apparently not only is the government quiet on some topics but it also avoids talking about them and it clutches at straws using marijuana as an excuse. Oh please!
Cannabis is the people’s freedom claim
The biggest problem of this plant is its own nature, as everyone can grow it and produce a lot of things from it: clothes, food, medicines and fuel, basically everything. According to Salvini illegal cannabis in Italy creates disorder and a society in disarray, which are the motives of his battle. Actually, it produces exactly the opposite: as we have seen, legal cannabis fights the affairs of criminality, produces wealth and fiscal returns. Also, if creates jobs, entrepreneurial opportunities and diffused local wealth, you know why? Because the plant is natural and not patentable therefore everyone has the right to do whatever he wants with it.
Can you understand where the problem lies? The position of the Minister Salvini should emerge from this simple equation. Illegal cannabis in Italy is certainly not a battle for public order or legality, because if we think about its cannabis shops have contributed to the fight against illegal drug-dealing more than institutions and police have done so far. This should now be clear, and we would need someone to explain it to the Minister, maybe by having him taking two puffs of a joint that never hurt anybody!
It might sound transgressive to people who still are not aware of this reality, but yes, marijuana is legal in Barcelona. What does this mean? It’s simple: it means that you can smoke weed and whatnot in peace in one of the many clubs. Note though that we are not talking about “Ganjaland” but about one of the most modern and evolved cities of Europe. This means that legalization has gone through a thoughtful and carefully assessed process in every aspect.
The assessment of this turning point has produced an impactful analysis able to drive authorities to the best possible outcome. In other words, they thought about smokers and the community as a whole by reducing illegal drug dealing and criminality, no small stuff!
This is only one of the many positive effects given that marijuana is legal in Barcelona also for other reasons. For example, the government has taken into account employment because marijuana just like tobacco needs workforce to be produced. Imagine all the production process all the way to the sales counters in the clubs and think of all the people who grow, transport, distribute and resell marijuana.
The common error is to think of it as something alien and negative when it actually isn’t. You can freely smoke in Barcelona’s clubs without risking a fine or persecution, representing an opportunity for whoever loves smoking. There are at least twenty different clubs in the city where you can go and smoke marijuana while comfortably laying on a sofa and drinking beer.
The cultural level changes and produces income
As we mentioned already we are talking about a flourishing market that is continuously growing. The choice of Spain on this matter has been clear and precise: it has regulated a phenomenon that would have otherwise brought disorder in the city. A little more than 20 years ago the capital of Catalonia was also the capital of illegal drug dealing with widespread criminality. Today this phenomenon is only a memory and it seems like drug dealing will disappear soon. Marijuana is legal in Barcelona for these reasons and it is able to attract a vast pool of people from all over Europe. For the Spanish region this means higher income therefore higher economic resources coming from other European citizens to the local benefit of the city.
This shows that legal marijuana in Spain is neither casual nor reckless, but rather the result of a contemporary and smart choice. Spanish people are definitely happier knowing that there are places such as the cannabis clubs rather than illegal drug dealing happening in the streets. Today the city is flourishing of commercial activities and tourism and it welcomes millions of tourists every year, many of which coming for cannabis. The popularity and the fame of legal cannabis in Barcelona have reached many countries, outclassing the other known city of Amsterdam, especially for the good weather.
Where to legally smoke marijuana
Marijuana is legal in Barcelona but this doesn’t mean that you can smoke it anywhere given that it is not allowed to smoke it in the streets. In Barcelona there are specific cannabis clubs that you can join through membership and where you can smoke and support local producers within the law.
Everyone is happy about it: not only the smokers but also the entire community that indirectly benefits from this decision. Joining a club is easy and you can do so by going on the Weedjam website where you can easily subscribe and do everything online. Once subscribed you will be able to access the cannabis clubs, smoke and enjoy nice nights out in good company with music and drinks.
Nothing transgressive here: you go to these places to spend time in company, to smoke one of the many available varieties of marijuana and to socialize. The great thing about this is that besides the service offered you are contributing to the collective acknowledgment that there is nothing bad about it but rather the opposite.
The best way to exorcise every negative feeling is to visit one of these cannabis clubs so as to experience in person and have a real opinion about them. If you’ve never tried marijuana before, next time you go to Barcelona could be your occasion to try it legally. You will realise that everything is very pleasant, especially in cannabis clubs where the vibe is joyful and friendly.
Going to Barcelona to smoke, why not?
Every year thousands of people of every age reach Barcelona to smoke. There is nothing unusual: better to do it for this reason than for worse ones given that smoking has never harmed anyone. Especially now that criminality has no power in the now legal market, the environment looks more liveable and healthy.
This is the case now because illegality and criminality prosper where there are nonsense bans just like it happened in the past century with cannabis. The world changes and if someone asks you whether cannabis is legal in Barcelona now you know how to answer: it is, thank goodness!
Right now Barcelona represents the “promised land” to youngsters, a place where transgression here is seen as normality there. Smoking marijuana shouldn’t be forbidden, just like cigarettes or hard liquors that instead are dangerous for the body. Just think that in many of these clubs hard liquors are not sold, how crazy is that?
The world changes quickly, this is why a mentality resistant to changes can endure backlashes due to the cultural limitation of some people. Besides that, marijuana is legal in Barcelona, a sign that the world can change for the better if it really wants it. For the time being we will smoke in Barcelona 🙂
Okay, it is impossible not to talk about it given that the theme of these days strikes us. According to the Minister Salvini cannabis is dangerous. Yes, just like sugar. Of course, if you abuse of it then your teeth fall! Well, this outing is definitely not informed and it implies the lack of awareness of the Minister. Unfortunately, while he is stating this the European elections are running and we hope it is only a propagandistic “boutade”…
However, we cannot fail to notice some points which sound exaggerated, almost ridiculous. Associating cannabis to heavy drugs is the result of misinformation and bad faith. In Italy this obviously made a noise, because the threat of closing down stores causes not only sensation but also economic damage. There are more or less 1000 stores where legal cannabis is sold, although with a reduced percentage of THC and admitted by the State.
To whose who are telling themselves that “cannabis is dangerous”, we can only say that it is less than alcohol and the reckless use of cigarettes. Needless to say that hospitals are not full of patients whose causes are to be found in “joints”! Instead, there are millions of alcoholics and heavy smokers, that the State coincidentally represented by Salvini, is happily profiting from.
The Minister has declared that he wants to fight against the drugs phenomenon and to protect public health. Alright, we all agree on this, but what is the link with cannabis? Cannabis is dangerous just as sugar. It can have adverse effects such as making you too happy and euphoric. Is it a bad thing? This story is going off the rails, therefore we really hope that it is a mere pre-electoral propaganda, although completely wrong.
Is cannabis dangerous? … Ban all lollipop sellers!!
Well yes, this all sounds surreal. If cannabis is dangerous, then also sugars are no joke: they make you fat, they give you diabetes and they take you to the dentist. This is enough to outlaw lollipops! Now, jokes aside, what the Minister wants to pursue is fair and correct because heroin, cocaine and synthetic drugs are really drugs that should be prosecuted. For this exact reason we should not compare apples with oranges because it would be unforgivable and offensive also for the intelligence of an insect! If Mr. Salvini cares about public health, he could also implement other and more important changes:
Limiting the alcohol consumption by forbidding and limiting its sale in public places, as well as refusing medical help to whose who get wasted on Martinis. Because who decides to kill himself with his own money, then he should get treatment with the exact same money!
Same thing goes for cigarettes. If you get lungs tumour because you smoke like an oven and you pay for your beloved cigs, the same money will go to get yourself treated!
More generally he could deal with the car traffic that kills millions of people, by inviting everyone to go on foot or use the bike!
This is to say that you cannot make statements claiming that you care about public health when the State is the first to reap the benefits of the self-destruction of people!
So, we are talking about things pulled out of the air that make no sense, statements or “fights” similar to the ones of Don Quixote. Indeed, he has not won any of his battles because windmills were not an enemy, just like cannabis, and history confirms it! Clearly we are writing this now only because it involves us but also because truth should always prevail on bullshit! And this is an objective fact not a stance like the one of the Minister, which is wrong in any way.
History needs to be rewritten… and we will rewrite it!
We would like to suggest a great video precisely about this matter shared today by Massimo Mazzucco, admin of Luogocomune.net. The title of the post could not be more accurate: “Salvini, the real junkie is you!”. Mazzucco goes over the matter giving a history lecture and giving correct information. He also invites the Minister to mention one, and only one, example of death due to cannabis or to show the proof that it represents the fist step leading to hard drugs! Cannabis is dangerous only for those with this preconception, of course wrong, and for those who talk only by hearsay and without knowledge of facts or information!
I remember that Mazzucco made a beautiful documentary: “THE REAL STORY OF CANNABIS” that mentions the motives of its ban. The ban obviously had lucrative reasons to help the new market of petrochemicals develop and grow, which we are now seriously dependent on! Unfortunately, the people leading this process deceived us and they are still doing it today, everyday. Cannabis is dangerous, but only for multinational companies’ interests. For them it cannabis is very dangerous and this is why they are fighting against it. I suggest you to watch the VIDEO shared by Mazzucco, that apart from being formative and informative is very enlightening. With data and reports at his disposal he dismantles any possible doubts on cannabis, offensively considered a “drug”.
And to think that cannabis is also therapeutic!
Now, do you know anyone who got treated with whiskey or bourbon? Or do you know anyone who got treated with two packs of cigarettes a day? Of course not, yet there are thousands of people who get treated or ease their health pains with cannabis! How can one think that cannabis is dangerous if on the contrary it is medical? Do we need to add anything else? Wisdom wants that before starting to speak one should be aware of what he is saying because the damages can otherwise be huge!
“Take this, all of you, and smoke it” could be the perfect and provocative slogan in response to the “salvinian” witch-hunting. We would also add: “do not drink and do not smoke cigarettes” as these really harm your body and kill millions of people. To sum up the whole story of cannabis, they globally deprived us of a prosperous plant only for the interest of few and clearly to the detriment of all the population. To conclude, dear Salvini, as Al Capone interpreted by Robert De Niro in “The Untouchables” says: “You are nothing but a lot of talk and a badge”.
The history of this plant is extraordinary, and needless to say, therapeutic cannabis is vital! We hear of incredible stories that would almost sound like fairy-tales if they were not true, but fortunately they are. The THC extracts, that is, the oils containing cannabinoids can also cure serious illnesses so much that some people who were thought of being at the end of their lives saw the regression of their pathologies in few days, almost as if they miraculously healed. Tales of this type are continuously growing and obviously the medical establishment fiercely fights against these treatments. Therapeutic cannabis is dangerous, of course, but for pharmaceutical lobbies that profit from people.
As you could imagine, a synthetic pill created in the lab can be patented and can profit from its rights, but fortunately a plant cannot! This is the case of cannabis, whose plant banned around a century ago, forcefully comes back today on the market. You can stop a bucket full of water but not a river in flood, and that river is called cannabis today. With all the benefits that this incredible plant holds, today it is not possible to hide them anymore as the web takes it course and awareness increases. Therapeutic cannabis is the latest marvel discovered and it concerns everyone because health is an undeniable right. You can also heal from very serious, and in some cases, irreversible illnesses, at least according to the traditional medical “science”.
Let’s get out from medical obscurantism of the
Therapeutic cannabis
Marijuana was banned for simple economic and lucrative reasons. It was too democratic because anyone could grow it. The plant is prosperous and good, so much that it can be used not only for medical purposes but also to produce food and objects. Just think about Ford that over seventy years ago created the first ecological automobile, almost all recyclable, called Hemp Body Car at that time. It was a car produced with hemp cellulose fibres, and just imagine, it was fuelled by hemp ethanol.
Yes, also biological fuel can be produced by hemp! Now you can also understand why hemp was banned in the United States first, and then all over the world as it represented a danger for the interests of lobbies. The world would have definitely been better if people like Rockefeller did not interfere. His interests focused on oil and the relative newborn chemical industry that would not have had the same success of hemp, was this to be freely available to everyone.
Anyway, to go back to therapeutic cannabis, it is always the same story: the great benefits of this plant’s extracts, and in some cases smoking it, are widely opposed. Of course, if you can heal with a plant, there is also less need of a doctor, at least in many cases, therefore, “hemp is not good”! In any case, history takes its course and truth always comes to the ones who believe to be right. So today we are in a phase of regaining faith that in few years we could finally see cannabis freed from any obstacle that criminalised it for almost a century.
Healing is everyone’s right but it is also sacred knowing what are the best, less invasive and cheaper treatments. The perspective of cannabis is changing rapidly worldwide. Maybe humanity will be able to fully enjoy this gift of the nature again soon, which was kept hidden for too long. The people responsible of this deprivation lasting for almost a century should be condemned for crimes against humanity, for taking it away from a precious ally in social, economic and productive development and of depriving it of its incredible properties.
Some countries are more culturally advanced and health reaps the benefits
Spain is definitely one of these and Barcelona with its Social Clubs is a clear example of this culture. There you can smoke and really enjoy the pleasure of relaxation, feel good and why not, preventing illnesses. Smoking is not about getting high as everyone wants us to believe: smoking marijuana means socialising, staying together, relaxing and feeling good about oneself and with others. This is therapeutic on its own as relaxing means feeling good, and when a person is healthy he does not use medicines, that is the point. The cannabis available at Social Clubs Barcelona is produced locally by farmers that own the licence and the relative governmental permits. This is done out in the open, with transparency as here you can legally smoke and more importantly without any prejudice.
Maybe evolution is taking its course as we are witnessing a collective awareness from the bottom, democratic and beneficial for everyone. Of course, we can be sure that therapeutic cannabis will be strongly fought against, but no one can stop this natural collective rebirth! Unfortunately, Italy is the taillight, either in bad or good things, as positive changes always happen with extreme delay. We confide in a political “resurrection” that will really put people’s needs first, and cannabis is one of them.
Smoking to feel better cannot be a crime: if you provide wellness and joy you are only to be praised as the aim of each State is, or should be, common good!
Only not smoking is a sin!
For those who would like to try even just by curiosity, provided that they have never tried before, Barcelona is the perfect destination for the next holidays. The city welcomes thousands of tourists every year, many of which visit for the beauties such as the nice Cannabis Social Clubs. Yes, this is also a good reason to take a plane to visit one of the most welcoming and modern European cities as well as one of the most liberal!
Therapeutic cannabis is also this: finding back a little bit of healthy relax lost in the maze of the frenzy modern life which can represent a problem. We would say: “nothing like a good smoke”, and thank goodness it is true. Many problems just fade away tank to cannabis. It is natural and it represents a powerful aid to many health issues, from the lightest to the most serious ones. This plant should be glorified and loved by everyone, as the things we can do with it are endless. Let’s enjoy it and… Let the cannabis be with you!
